Redevelopment RHA Cafe and Bookshop |
| The RHA is delighted to announce that we will have a purpose built café and bookshop on the ground floor of the gallery. Noble & Beggarman will operate a specialist bookshop stocking art and art related books. The distinctive name of the bookshop comes from the 1937 Yeats poem T’he Municipal Gallery Revisited’, apt for a company which has it’s founding store in the Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane. Manager Shane Hallahan is eager to impress the down to earth ethos of the bookshop: “ A lot of people are intimidated by art or by gallery shops, there is a certain snootiness at times ... we try to steer away from that. We don’t profess to know absolutely everything about art; we just want to help you get a book.” www.nobleandbeggarmanbooks.com
